Deleting your PocoStep account

1. Delete your account in the app

To delete your PocoStep account:

1. Open PocoStep.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Account.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm deletion.

2. Delete your account without access to the app

If you cannot access the PocoStep app, you may request deletion of your account by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your PocoStep account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

3. What server-side data is deleted

When your PocoStep account is deleted, we delete the account information associated with it from our active systems, except for information that we are legally permitted or required to retain. This includes:

• account identifiers used to sign in;
• AI consent status;
• subscription access and status metadata;
• AI usage metadata connected to the account.

4. What may be retained

Limited information may be retained only where reasonably necessary for:

• security;
• fraud prevention;
• service operation;
• legal obligations.

Any retained information is kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes.

5. Data stored on your device

PocoStep is local-first, so most of your data stays on your device rather than on our servers. This includes your tasks, steps, reminders, due dates, hydration progress, energy check-ins, personalization answers, XP, badges, themes, app preferences, and the data shown in home-screen widgets.

This on-device data is not removed by deleting your account. You can remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data on your device.

6. Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your PocoStep account, uninstalling the app, or clearing local data does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To cancel a subscription, open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions, select Subscriptions, choose PocoStep, and tap Cancel subscription.
